FlyLite Gemini

Michigan's Flylite Gemini started as a solo venture for music veteran and Kalamazoo-based guitarist Joe Chamberlin has since blossomed into one of Michigan’s hottest acts. The band has since grown to include drummer Sam Rice, guitarist Gary Cimmerer, and bassist Dan Hildebrandt who, together, now have two award winning albums under their belts. Their third, “Time and Space,” was released in May of 2022.

Their debut album, released in 2017, was nominated for best blues and soul album from a new artist and album of the year at the 2018 Jammie Awards. Their follow up record, “Bigger on the Inside,” was deemed perfect for driving to the beach or a music festival on a steamy summer’s eve with the windows all the way down by Local Spins. Their latest record also got praise from the West Michigan based publication stating the band has found their groove and is committed to producing exciting and engaging rock music that instantly elevates your mood and gets you dancing. The same record awarded the band a nomination for best rock/pop album and artist of the year in the 2023 Jammie Awards.

Flylite Gemini has been making waves in the Michigan music scene with their high-energy live performances and unique sound .Having performed throughout Michigan, including venues such as Bell’s Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo, Short’s Brewing in Bellaire, Tip Top Deluxe Bar and Grill in Grand Rapids and other venues across the Mitten State. They’ve also performed at Buttermilk Jamboree, Dunesville, Sounds of the Zoo, Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts, and Pond Jam to name a few.

After bringing their innovative sound and passionate live shows to many of the state's top venues, as well as having shared the stage with many national acts, Flylite Gemini is poised to make a big impact on the indie rock scene both in Michigan and beyond.

The Bootstrap Boys

The Bootstrap Boys

THE BOOTSTRAP BOYS ARE A COUNTRY AMERICANA BAND FROM GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN. They’ve been making their own signature brand of folk-rock inspired traditional country music since 2015. Their songs come courtesy of lead singer and songwriter, Jake Stilson, who’s career has spanned several decades in both solo and full band projects. Influenced equally by rural Christian bluegrass he was exposed to in the church and the heady country rock of the late 1960’s & 70’s [Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage, The Byrds, The Band], Jake and the Boys have developed a sound of their own over the years, drifting further and further away from their folksy-bluegrass sound and charging headlong into a heavier, more electric realm.

Luke Woltanski

Originally from Plainwell Michigan, 24 year old folk singer/songwriter Luke Woltanski spent his summers up north were he developed a love for the Traverse City and Leelanau Area music scene. Luke was classically trained in vocal performance from age 5 and taught himself to play guitar at age 13. In the same year, while in Empire, MI, Luke bought his first harmonica (a Chromatic harp in the key of C) from an estate sale. He quickly learned to play and two summers later, at only 15, Luke played his first show for an art opening at Lake Street Studios in Glen Arbor, MI. He sang and played original tunes as well as covers on harmonica and guitar. He would continue to play shows in the area until he eventually put himself through college by playing shows in the summers. Luke Winslow King

Free Show in Jacob’s Farm Beer Garden

Luke Winslow-King is a New Orleans-based guitarist, singer, producer, and songwriter. His work is an eclectic mix that combines Mississippi delta blues, folk music, traditional jazz, and roots rock & roll. His alchemical songs blend contemporary ideas with styles from bygone eras producing a sound that is rustic and urbane, elegant and entirely his own.

Winslow-King and an all-star cast of blues, roots, and world music greats, including Roberto Luti, and Charles Hodges (Al Green), cut his seventh full length record, If These Walls Could Talk in Memphis, TN. The new album presents an evolution of the bluesman’s sound that is both reverent and bright. Bearing up unprecedentedly hopeful lyrics is a deep sonic foundation of LWK’s beloved delta blues fused with the high energy midwestern rock that shaped his teenage years in Northern Michigan. Like all of Winslow-King’s work, If These Walls Could Talk continues to propel rugged roots to the vanguard of modern artistic sensibility.

In addition to cutting seven studio records in the last decade, he has toured extensively in North America and Europe, appearing on notable stages such as Austin City Limits, New Orleans JazzFest, Azkena Rock Festival (Spain), Tønder Festival Paradiso (Netherlands), Maverick Festival (UK), and countless more.

Garrison, a student of choral singing, is a recent transplant from the Western Slope of Colorado; Doug has played and sang in local groups for several decades. Backing each other up on guitar, bass, and percussion, The Duges specialize in following their Muse of spirited harmonies -- always in the forefront.
