WELCOME TO THE FARM
People often tell us there’s something special about Jacob’s Farm that makes it feel like home. Maybe it’s our classic, lovingly restored red barn, or our rolling orchards. Perhaps it’s the smell of fresh flowers and native plants wafting out of our gardens, or the love and care shown by each member of our team. Our northern Michigan charm and hospitality is part of everything we do as we aim to make each of our guests feel welcome.
It is our belief that time and space are key ingredients to creating a magical celebration. Our team gives you the opportunity to be completely present to soak every last drop of happiness surrounded by your life partner, family and friends!
Family and memories have been the bedrock of our farm since 1892. We want you to come back again and again, for important milestones or just to say hello. When you host an event here, you become family.

Our Spaces
The 40 acre estate is framed by mature trees, orchards and scenic views creating the idyllic backdrop for your special day. The orchard rows and Michigan poplars set the peaceful tone for each of our Farm venues.
Whether your celebration be festive or intimate, enjoy your choice to the Orchard View Pavilion & Pond, Centennial Barn, Cathedral of trees, or Cattle Lounge. From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted by our Hospitality Director who will attend to you throughout the day. Our historic buildings, cozy furnishings and attentive staff set the tone so you can relax with close friends and family as you get ready for your special day.
Following, you will see the different venues we can offer to you at the farm.
Centennial Barn
This where it all started. An atmosphere that boasts a rustic elegance and exudes iconic charm. The timber framed barn is nestled in a hill on the north side of the property giving way to a spacious landscape perfect for your ceremony or cocktail hour. The red barn features sliding barn doors on three sides and a large deck showcasing views of the west estate and might I say fabulous Michigan sunsets.
The Cattle Lounge, located on the lower level, is an airy and space topped with a clear green house like roof, giving endless opportunities. The lower level features a bar, restrooms, and beer garden lined with bistro lights. This level provides an ideal space for cocktail hour, dancing, dessert and photos.
The Centennial Barn upper level is ideal for weddings of 100 guests and under. With a Festival approach we can accommodate well over 200 guests.
Orchard View
PAVILION & POND
Picture a private passage midst the orchards and rolling hills displaying cherries, apples and peaches. The road bends to get a glimpse of white railed fences and weathervaned cupolas. As you look around, your eyes greet you with serenity, beauty the Orchard View Pavilion.
The pavilion is a showcase of modern farmhouse elegance. With white washed shiplap, cedar timbered accents, lofted chandeliers and breath taking views all around, this glorious setting is the perfect fit for your grand occasion. The venue features a circa 18 80’s bar, luxurious mobile restroom, a bistro lit terrace and an iconic windmill.
The Orchard View Pavilion is ideal for weddings and events of 175 guests and under. However, the venue can accommodate a maximum of 220 Guests inside. We have had as many as 400 guests at Orchard View. It requires certain conditions and fees. This venue is available May - October.
Cathedral of Trees
Nuzzled amongst the woods is the heart of the farm. A place where the canopy chirps and the sunshine beams through the leaves alluring any nature lover. The Cathedral of Trees is a magical space to host your exchange of vows, events or gatherings. Although intimate, you can’t help but notice the grandeur it displays to you and your guests. The Cathedral of trees is ideal for up to 220 guests.
The Orchard
“In every forest, on every farm, in every orchard on earth, it’s what’s under the ground that creates what’s above the ground.” - T. Harv Eker. The roots of our trees are the result of labor and love. The fruit they bare is the outcome of peace and happiness.
In time with our seasons these Orchards will stay in time with everything we do on the farm. It provides many different opportunities for our guests.
When you choose an event at Jacob’s Farm, our farm becomes your home. You will be greeted by our Hospitality Director. They will help you get acquainted with the farm. When you utilize one of our facilities for your ceremony and/or reception, your guests can mingle, snack, drink and play games.
Guests gather for speeches and dinner served by our premiere culinary team and when it’s time to dance, the lights dim and guests enjoy the warmth of bonfires and curated cocktails.
Couples have told us that this staged approach helps make each part of their day feel distinctly memorable. Your event unfolds like a story, with unique chapters for every moment. Everyone enjoys our farm.
